Emily and Mike generously booked a bike tour with with me 5 years ago, a few days before before signing on the dotted line of a ski lodge with direct access to the excellent Cortina and Norikura Ski Resorts.
It was exciting to hear about their journey and aspirations way back then but even more exciting to experience first-hand the awesome success Canopy Cortina Boutique Lodge has become.
I can say without hesitation that our stay with Emily and Mike was the highlight of our ski season.
This was the comment I left after our stay on Google and in all honesty I don't think I could rephrase it any better now.
"We've been bumping around Niigata, Gunma and Nagano this Japanese snow season and our stay at Canopy Cortina was hands down the best we've had! Communication with Emily was superb, nothing was ever too difficult for the always friendly staff and Mike's revolving menu in the restaurant was something that we all looked forward to after an enjoyable day's skiing. A short walk to the slopes of Cortina and Norikura / some of best snow in the Hakuba region / brilliant food / complimented by a cozy boutique lodge stay. I shouldn't be letting the secret out but we'll certainly be back again this season if not next. Thanks again for all the memories Emily and Mike!"
Family groups, couples getaways and corporate retreats, Canopy caters it all. The only recommendation that I can make is to get in there early as dates will fill up quickly for the 2024 / 2025 season and rightfully so!
